Oklahoma City Radio in 1921
 

The station in the above document issued by the Department of Commerce shows the first licensed station in Oklahoma City. To my knowledge, this station would become WKY-AM 930.
 

Oklahoma City Radio in 1924

According to the Radio Service Bulletin, issued by the Department of Commerce, the licensed stations in Oklahoma City area were:

Oklahoma City Radio in 1927

This FRC document (above) shows the current stations. The Chickasha station changed calls from KFGD to KOCW and was operating at 1190 kilocycles. WNAD in Norman (now WWLS-AM 640) was operating at 1250 kilocycles. KFJF (now KOMA-AM 1520) was operating at 1100 kilocycles. It is unknown what KGCB and KGFG became. Finally, WKY (now at AM 930) was broadcasting at 1040 kilocycles.
